How to maintain tension in one rail while back wrapping

When wrapping your child on your back you want to secure one side of the wrap. Often the wrap gets pinned between your legs. We recommend standing on this rail, as this holds the tension in the rail better than pinning it and adds security and ease to your back wrapping process. It also means you can stand up straight so the effects of gravity on your carry will not differ once you have finished tying off. Stand up straight and guide the part of the wrap that comes down your shoulder straight down the side of your body while still holding the tension. Then lift up your foot and run it along the wrap. Securely stand on the whole wrap and then lean a little to this side as this will add tension. Your baby is now secure and your hand is free to tighten the other side.
